Buchanan Printing & Graphics Moves Into New Facility

Press release from the issuing company

GREENSBORO – Buchanan Printing & Graphics, Inc. has moved into a new, expanded facility to improve workflow and better serve its customers, according to company president David Buchanan. The new building, at 1088 Boulder Road in Greensboro, is off Tarrant Road, which runs between West Wendover Avenue and Chimney Rock Road, adjacent to Piedmont Centre. The building replaces a former facility on Green Point Drive that the business had outgrown. “This year marks our 15th anniversary in business in the Piedmont Triad and the move was really a necessity,” said Buchanan. “Our new building was designed to help us do a more efficient job for our customers.” The building measures 7,750 square feet. It was designed by Greensboro architect Eric Morrison. Hamlett Associates was the general contractor and R.W. Hamlett Jr. was the project manager. “This facility will meet our needs, now and into the future,” Buchanan said. He explained that starting from scratch means that space can be more efficiently allocated for the different operations within a modern printing company. In the case of Buchanan Printing and Graphics, those operations combine the speed and competitive pricing of an “instant-print” shop with the high quality of a larger commercial printing company with hundreds of employees. “Customers really benefit from the higher quality of offset printing, but we recognized years ago that oftentimes, costs were prohibitive to produce shorter press runs and maintain that quality,” said Buchanan. “We’ve figured out a way to do that and do it well.”
