IPA Announces David Schawk, Schawk, Inc., as New Chair of the Board

Edina , MN —January 16, 2006—David Schawk, Schawk, Inc., has been elected to serve a one-year term as chair of the IPA Board of Directors. Other officers elected to serve with Schawk are 1st Vice Chair Bob Childs, DCI, and 2nd Vice Chair, Gail Ludewig, TotalWorks. Kent Hatterick, Beck Graphic Solutions, is past chair, and Roni Buczynski, Vertis, Inc., has been appointed secretary/treasurer. Board members Gary Stafford, Lazer Incorporated, and Murray Todd, Total Graphics, have been appointed to serve on the Executive Committee with the officers.
Elected to serve three-year terms on the IPA Board are Jimmy Carman, Group360; Alayne Jurgens, c3 Premedia Solutions; Brent Moncrief, Capps Digital; Steve Olberding, Phototype; and Abhay Sharma, Ryerson University. They join the following previously elected board members: Paul Baudhuin, Digital Color; Cindy Calvert-Copeland, Graphics Universal; Joseph Demharter, Pitman Company; Chip Harding, Harper House; Kathy McHugh, Kodak Polychrome Graphics; Tony Myrie, RR Donnelley; Luca Naccarato, Southern Graphic Systems; David Peterson, Banta PreMedia Services; Gary Stafford, Lazer Incorporated; Dan Stillwell, LAgraphico; Murray Todd, Total Graphics; Larry Warter, Enovation, A Fujifilm Company; Richard Whitsitt, TSI Graphics; and Bob Zoelle, DuPont Imaging Technologies.
The Board will help IPA continue to provide insights and resources that enhance members' profitability by strengthening their graphic workflow competencies.
