ICS Expands Distribution in China with Shanghai Lanli Graphic Equipment Co.

Press release from the issuing company

New York, NY; November 29, 2005 – Integrated Color Solutions (ICS), the industry leader in providing remote color proofing solutions, announced today the addition of Shanghai Lanli Graphic Equipment Co. to its list of dealers in China. “We're proud to be a distributor for ICS and Remote Director in China,” said Luo Xin, Lanli's general manager. “At Lanli, we strive to represent the world's best manufacturers and ICS is the clear leader in remote proofing solutions. We look forward to bringing the advantages of Remote Director to our customers.” Shanghai Lanli Graphic Equiment Co., Ltd., founded in 2004, provides one of the broadest ranges of products and solutions available in the graphic arts industry. Lanli specializes in the selling of testing instruments for prepress and pressroom departments in China's eastern region. Additionally, all of Lanli's employees have special education in the printing industry and are eager to introduce their customers to remote and soft proofing technologies. “Our expansion in China is a strong indicator of the demand for remote proofing technologies in that part of the world,” says John Sweeney, ICS' vice president of sales and marketing. “With Remote Director's user-friendly design, it's easily implemented into any workflow, in any country.” ICS's Remote Director is the first SWOP-certified, display-based contract proofing system that applies advanced color management and software technologies to ensure color-accurate proofs. It allows multiple users to view the same artwork, add comments and collaborate about color as well as content and build a complete digital record of the entire job from start to finish – all without consideration for geographical borders. Not only does Remote Director eliminate expensive hard proofs, but it also reduces overnight delivery charges. And, for users outside of the United States, it also eliminates the worry of delays with U.S. and foreign Customs. The latest version of Remote Director, introduced earlier this year, features a suite of enhancements, giving users instant navigation of a color-managed monitor proof at press. This helps users in terms of make-ready time, as well as eliminates the costly handling of paper proofs.
