Sewickley, Pa., October 25, 2005 — LPIA is pleased to announce that Thomas Glas, Regional Sales Manager, Vacumet Corporation, is the seventh recipient of the LPIA Hall of Fame. Tom was inducted during the September 2005 LPIA Fall Management Conference.
Tom has been with Vacumet Metallized Papers since March 1987. Vacumet is a leading converter of holographic and metallized papers. Vacumet products are used in the promotion and packaging of major consumer products. Tom’s primary focus is the offset label account market in North America. Prior to Vacumet, Tom held positions within Schoeller and Hoesch, North America.
Tom is a current member of the LPIA Board of Directors, and has been a member of LPIA since 1985.
Tom resides in Markham, Ontario with his wife and three children.
The LPIA Hall of Fame is conferred to that label printing executive (printer or supplier) who has reached an unsurpassed level of excellence and achievement in the industry—a leader who has gone far beyond the standard obligations to become a dominant force in shaping the business of label printing.
