Westmont, Illinois — MAN Roland Inc. has promoted George Fischer to the post of General Manager of its Central Region, a position responsible for all sales, service and support of sheetfed presses in the Midwest. Fischer joined MAN Roland in 2002 as a Director, working with printing companies that were experiencing difficulty. “By helping them better manage the financial future of their businesses, George's efforts have strengthened the viability of many of our customers, while positively impacting MAN Roland's bottom line,” said Yves Rogivue, CEO of MAN Roland Inc. Before joining MAN Roland, Fischer was with Lehman Brothers, one of the world’s leading investment banks, where he advised clients on issues regarding strategy, acquisitions, disposals and capital raising across a number of capital intensive industries in the US and Europe. Fischer holds an MBA from INSEAD in France, and a BA from Wabash College in Indiana.
