STAMFORD, Conn., Oct. 6 -- Pitney Bowes Inc. announced the appointment of Helen Shan to the position of Vice President and Treasurer. She will report to Bruce Nolop, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
As Vice President and Treasurer, Ms. Shan will lead all of the company's treasury operations worldwide, including capital markets, cash management, insurance, and trust investments and pension fund management. She joins Pitney Bowes after 13 years in banking at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Salomon Brothers Inc. Her most recent role at J.P. Morgan was as Managing Director, Diversified Industries, where she was the client executive responsible for the relationship management of a portfolio of Fortune 500 industrial and business services companies including Pitney Bowes. Ms. Shan earned her dual undergraduate degrees from the Wharton School of Business and the School of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. She received her MBA from the Johnson School of Business at Cornell University.
