Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses Appoints Veteran Financial Specialist Dennis Dessilla Director Of Sheetfed Sales

Press release from the issuing company

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. - Dennis Dessilla, director of corporate finance and administration at Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses (MLP U.S.A., Inc.), has been named Director of Sheetfed Sales, effective October 1. In his new position, Dessilla will oversee the company's sheetfed sales organization. Dessilla's history with Mitsubishi dates back to 1989. He started with the company in the capacity of controller. His longtime experience in finance led to his promotion in 1998. As director of corporate finance and administration, Dessilla worked closely with customers of Mitsubishi to secure financing for new press purchases. His approach to financing a new printing press emphasized long-term value as opposed to short-term benefits, regardless of the financing source, according to K.G. Katayama, president. "Dennis' role as head of the finance department has frequently taken him into the field, working with both Mitsubishi sales personnel and the management of many different printing firms," Katayama said. "His insight into the structure and operation of companies of all sizes and market segments is invaluable for servicing customer needs." Mitsubishi Diamond Series sheetfed presses are available in a range of sizes - from the 28-inch Diamond 1000 Series to the 56-inch Diamond 6000 Series - and configurations up to 12 printing units. Fast job makeready, ease of operation and high throughput are hallmarks of the Diamond Series. Mitsubishi is at the forefront of the implementation of the Job Definition Format specification, and is working with other vendors toward full integration of Mitsubishi presses into a JDF-compliant workflow.
