CHICAGO (Print 05 & Converting 05) – RIPit Computer Corp., the primary workflow and CtP provider to the majority of quick printers and franchises in North America, today debuts the SpeedSetter VM4, a new violet metal, 4-Up Computer to Plate (CtP) system including full RIP workflow. RIPit is showing the SpeedSetter VM4 here in PRINT 05 booth #6560, from September 9 - 15, 2005. The SpeedSetter VM4 is part of a complete, turnkey CtP system which also includes RIPit's powerful OpenRIP Symphony core RIP, economical options include imposition and trapping; proofing and screening. Customers can also add a photopolymer plate processor and plate pH chemistry neutralizer (for disposal). The system is available Q1 2006 for a starting price of $59, 500K. No consumable contracts are required, and customers can choose from a variety of plates for use with the SpeedSetter.
