NAPC and Kodak Polychrome Graphics announce new link between WebNative and RealTimeProof

Press release from the issuing company

September 12, 2005 - NAPC and Kodak Polychrome Graphics today announced a new Xinet plug-in called 'ReviewLink,' which allows WebNative users to connect from their asset management system to Kodak's RealTimeProof application. Available in the fourth quarter of 2005, ReviewLink can significantly shorten the review cycle for color proofs, making it easy for workflow partners across multiple locations to view and annotate proofs online. "This is a great way to accelerate the routing and approval process," says Kenny Kirsch, Director of Strategic Solutions at NAPC. "Now a retoucher can create a proof session right from WebNative and immediately get feedback from other departments or the client." With ReviewLink, Xinet users will have access to all the "hands-on" collaborative features of Kodak's RealTimeProof, including annotation and "before-and-after" image compare. Plus, they'll be able to take advantage of all-new features only in the ReviewLink plug-in, including proof versions, subscribe to image and proof history. ReviewLink also works with Kodak's MatchPrint Virtual application, providing a seamless upgrade path for RealTimeProof users who want to move up to the online color-proofing capabilities in MatchPrint Virtual. ReviewLink can be used with Xinet's WebNative House Style, WebNative Portal, and NAPC's Elegant interface.
