CHICAGO--Sept. 10, 2005-- BOOTH #7518, PRINT 2005 -- X-Rite today announced that it has signed an agreement with Epson to provide X-Rite premium ICC profiles for its entire Stylus Pro line of printers. ICC profiles are a standard for specifying the color attributes of imaging devices such as digital cameras, scanners, displays, and printers so that the color of an image remains true from source to destination. Epson tested X-Rite's ICC profiles against many competing profiles for its Stylus Pro 4800, 7800, and 9800 professional series of printers. X-Rite's ICC profiles proved to provide superior color fidelity, better graybalance, and superior shadow to highlight detail and smoothness. X-Rite's premium ICC profiles are generated using its award-winning MonacoPROFILER 4.8 software.
