Chicago, Ill (Print '05) – September 9, 2005 – HP and Agfa today announced that a new :ApogeeX Integration Pack has been created by Agfa to leverage the benefits of the :ApogeeX workflow in HP Indigo digital printing environments. Available immediately, this new workflow component enables the management of hybrid analog and digital workflows from a single system. This reduces production costs by eliminating redundancies and ultimately makes it easier for commercial printers to add digital printing to their conventional printing capabilities. Users will now be able to combine analog and digital printing with HP and Agfa in one streamlined workflow and select their final output device later in the production process for a higher level of production management flexibility.
