Chicago, IL September 8, 2005 - Steven E. Zuccarini, Chief Executive Officer of InnerWorkings, is pleased to announce that Michael D. Jacobson has joined the company as Senior Vice President, General Manager of IW Paper, its new paper division. In this position, Jacobson will manage and oversee relationships with paper mills and merchants to satisfy InnerWorkings’ clients’ paper needs. "The addition of IW Paper to our value proposition will enable us to make tremendous progress in enhancing our supply chain service offering,” said Zuccarini. “Working directly with mills and merchants to procure paper will significantly benefit our clients by improving quality, reducing cycle times and generating cost savings.” Jacobson has more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the paper industry. Previously, Jacobson was Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing at Wheeling, IL-based Midland Paper, an independently owned fine paper, packaging and supply systems distributor. “Jacobson’s experience and strong relationships in the paper industry make him the ideal candidate to lead this division,” said Zuccarini. Jacobson earned a BA in Economics from Lake Forest College.
