Press release from the issuing company
KBA North America, a leading supplier of sheetfed offset and digital presses based in Williston, VT, has announced that Michael Mugavero, KBA eastern regional vice president, has been given added responsibilities. In addition to overseeing six district sales managers along the East Coast from the New York City area south to Miami and west to the Illinois and Mississippi borders, Mugavero will also oversee KBA sales efforts in Canada, from the Maritime Provinces west, excluding British Columbia. He will be working directly with KBA Canadian district sales managers: Rob McGillis in Ontario and Ron Harris in Quebec.
"I am very excited about this new opportunity to serve with KBA North America and energize the Canadian sales effort," says Mugavero. "We’ve been extremely successful in the Canadian market and I look forward to seeing that market grow even further. This additional position will allow me to interface with more existing customers as well as prospective customers in order to make them more aware of KBA´s vast array of products and services. No other printing press manufacturer offers the wide range of digital and conventional sheetfed technology that KBA offers, thereby, providing tailored solutions to the customer´s specific need. The quality construction, uniqueness of our press configurations and the service we render sets KBA apart, providing our customers the opportunity to better differentiate themselves in the market."
Mugavero was named KBA eastern regional vice president in the spring of 2003. Previously, Mugavero served as KBA product manager for the eastern region and district sales manager for the metro New York region. Mugavero´s territory included northern New Jersey, metro New York City, Long Island, and the lower Hudson Valley. He was responsible for KBA Rapida sheetfed presses ranging in size from 20 x 29" to 47 x 64" as well as the 74 Karat Digital Press line.
Before Mugavero joined KBA North America, he had spent eleven years with another press manufacturer in sales and general management. He´s had 32 years experience in the printing industry.
"We congratulate Michael on his new appointment at KBA," says Ralf Sammeck, president and CEO of KBA North America´s Sheetfed Division. "His vast experience in the graphic arts industry will enable KBA to better serve our customers as we expand in the commercial and digital markets of Canada."
