Quad/Graphics Earns Recognition in Annual Gold Ink Awards

Press release from the issuing company

August 26, 2005 -- Taking home the Gold in the Specialty Magazines category was our work on Audi Magazine’s February 2004 issue. Meanwhile, production on the Spring 2005 Williams-Sonoma Home catalog earned a Pewter award among the Consumer Catalogs entries. Billed "North America’s most prestigious print awards," the Gold Ink Awards are co-sponsored by trade magazines PrintMedia and Printing Impressions. Honoring pieces that demonstrate quality printing, technical difficulty and overall visual effectiveness, the awards are judged by a panel of graphic artists, production managers and print buyers from across the country. Each year, one Gold, Silver and Bronze award is given in each of the 40 categories, as well as varying numbers of Pewter awards and honorable mentions. Awards will be officially presented during the Annual Gold Ink Awards Banquet on September 12, as part of Print ’05 in Chicago.
