Jet is a winner in the 2005 Premier Print Awards Competition

Downers Grove, Illinois - 8/17/05 – Jet is proud to announce they have received several awards for outstanding production achievements. The 2005 Premier Print Awards Competition is the graphic arts industry's largest and most prestigious worldwide printing competition, hosted by PIA/GATF recognizing those responsible for the creation and production of outstanding print communications. Competing against more than 5,200 entries from printing and graphic arts firms around the world, the judges bestowed on Jet the award in which honors the top finalists in each category of the competition. Just 313 of the Award of Recognition were distributed in this year's competition. Jet is awarded as follows: Alt Pick Magazine Fall/Winter – Award of Recognition Category: Magazines (4 or more colors throughout) Transparent Container Brochure – Certificate of Merit Category: Booklets – up to 6 x 9 (4 or more colors) “A6” – Certificate of Merit Category: Soft Cover Books House of Walker Brochure – Certificate of Merit Category: Booklet – up to 6 x 9 (4 or more colors) Millennium Park Print Set – Certificate of Merit Category: Other Art Reproductions These winning pieces surpassed their competitors based on their exhibit of technical superiority including; even application of color, registration, degree of difficulty and the many other variables that go into producing the final product. In addition to this award recognition, Jet has also won awards this year in competitions sponsored by Sappi Fine Paper, the AIPX (Achievements in Print Excellence) Awards, a statewide printing competition hosted by the Printing Industry of Illinois and Indiana, as well as the Gold Ink Awards (North America's most prestigious print competition co-sponsored by Printing Impressions and PrintMedia magazines). “As a printer, receiving these awards demonstrates our commitment to quality and efficiency.
