Unisource Introduces the New and Improved Corniche
Press release from the issuing company
Norcross, Ga. – (Aug.1, 2005) – Unisource Worldwide, the number one paper distribution source in North America, announces the introduction of a new, brighter rendition of Corniche, one of its top-selling coated sheet brands.
Corniche now boasts a 90-brightness and blue-white shade putting it neck-and-neck with many premium sheets. The enhanced brightness combined with the high caliper and opacity of Corniche yields significant value.
High opacity, bulk, increased brightness and a uniform print surface combine to provide substantial advantages for designers, who can expect even ink lay-down for crisp text and sharp, vivid colors. Other advantages include enhanced image depth and reduced show-through, even in high ink coverage areas. Corniche also offers exceptional dimensional stability for outstanding performance on press. Available in both gloss and velvet finishes, Corniche is ideal for the production of annual reports, brochures, books, magazines, commercial collateral and catalogs.
A campaign support rollout of the new Corniche included a direct mail initiative, titled “Look on the Bright Side,” which highlights the advantages of its new brighter shade. Most recently a print comparison tool was developed, complete with new and old sheets, so that designers, specifiers and printers can make a hands-on evaluation of the improved Corniche.
