The customer’s key requirement here is to be able to procure prepress services and plates for both primary and secondary packaging from a single source.” With the installation of an additional CtP plate imagesetter ‘Esko CDI-Advance’, in a maximum format of 1,270 x 2,032 mm and the latest DuPont Cyrel 3000 large-format production line, FLEXICON is now in a position to satisfy this demand. At its headquarters in Halle/Westphalia and its subsidiary and joint ventures in Kentucky (USA), Dalian (China) and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), FLEXICON has a total of six CDI (Cyrel Digital Imager) plate imagesetters for the production of high-quality flexo plates in a large variety of sizes.
