Nashville Printer Writes The Book on Reducing Business Chaos

Press release from the issuing company

NASHVILLE, Tenn.--July 6, 2005-- Chaos is a way of life for most small business owners, but no longer for Philip Beyer, founder and president of Beyer Printing in Nashville. Beyer spent the last 10 years developing a system that removed chaos from his printing business; gaining profit through efficiency. To share what he has learned with other business owners, Beyer wrote System Buster explaining his methods. "My reason for writing this book," says Beyer, "was to show even the beginning entrepreneur how to organize, build, and grow an extraordinary business through a systematic approach." The book takes a no-nonsense approach to system building. Specific and to the point, Beyer traces every step he took in regaining control of his company. "My company owned me and I was covered up in chaos," says Beyer. "Now I'm working on my business, not in it." After implementing just one of his many systems, Beyer cut waste by 36 percent in less than a year, saving more than $23,000. Last year his company operated at 99.55 percent error-free production and turned a 10% profit in an industry that averages 1 1/2 to 3 percent. How did he do that? "It's in the book," Beyer says with a smile. "Imagine a fish bowl," Beyer says. "Write down all the minutes you waste each day in unnecessary meetings, looking for misplaced items or redoing work. Now, put all those minutes into the fish bowl. At the end of the month, you've got a fish bowl full of money, your profits. I wrote System Buster as a 'how to' manual for getting those minutes back." Beyer now spends much of his regained, precious time helping other business owners who have read his book. "Wow, Philip's book opened my eyes to the benefits and blessings of well-planned organizational systems," says Rodney Jones of The Gideons International. "He offers practical steps that can be universally applied to any business, association, ministry, even one's life. I intend to apply these concepts at every level from now on." System Buster, which lists for $14.95, can be purchased on-line at Amazon.com or at www.ebizproducts.com.
