INK ZONE INK SLIDE PRE-SETTING DEVICE IGS has been named a distributor for the InkZone Digital ink slide pre-setting device in North America by Digital Information Ltd. in Zurich, Switzerland. Ink Zone pre-sets the ink slides on sheetfed presses for greater productivity, efficiency and make-ready times. InkZone can be used with most popular press brands and presses without presetting can be upgraded simply and economically. VANTAGE PLUS RECYCLING SYSTEM IGS has been named as a distributor for the Vantage Plus CTP chemical recycling system. The system can be connected to any CTP. The EPA approved Vantage Plus system takes the overflow from the discharge plate processing developer and divides in to two portions. Half is directed to a blending tank, where it is then fed through filters for removal of contaminants. The treated half is then blended with fresh chemistry. The result is a significant reduction in chemistry purchases and cost of meeting environmental regulations. HIGH-PERFORMANCE COATING BLADES IGS has added the Durablade High-performance doctor blade to its line-up of press accessories. This ceramic tipped steel blade with an enhanced working edge requires no run-in time and provides constant quality throughout its lifetime. The tip wears slowly and evenly, resulting in fewer blade changes and less press downtime. Blades are available in standard ceramic tip material and in both standard steel and stainless steel and in widths from 10 to 98.mm (0.39- 3.86”). IGS CANADIAN OFFICE IGS has announced the expansion of its operations with the addition of a Canadian sales, service and parts office in Orangeville, Ontario.
