May 04, 2008 -- KBA North America, a global press manufacturer based in Williston, Vermont, is announcing that John Raithel, regional vice president of sales, has been promoted to the newly-created position of senior vice president-sales for the sheetfed division. Raithel, a printing industry veteran, will be overseeing the entire sheetfed sales force in North America. He will report directly to KBA President and CEO Holger Garbrecht as part of the Executive Management Team.

Raithel has served KBA in a number of management positions for the past four years including, sales manager for KBA Canada and vice president of used equipment. Raithel came to KBA from another printing press manufacturer where he spent 18 years in sales and management and was recognized regionally and nationally for top sales performance. Raithel grew up in Michigan where he received his Bachelor's Degree from Ferris State University. His early career focused on print production and plant management giving him a unique insight and well-rounded understanding of print operations to the sales process.
