Results of IPA Proofing and Workflow RoundUPs to be announced during Webinars

(June 17, 2005, Edina, Minnesota) IPA, The Association of Graphic Solutions Providers, will announce the results of its thorough examination of all leading graphic communications' workflow and proofing solutions in two live webinars, June 23 and June 29, 2005. Conducted during the recently completed and highly successful 40th Annual IPA Technical Conference, the 3rd Annual IPA Color Proofing RoundUP resulted in a comprehensive evaluation of 27 leading color proofing systems. Abhay Sharma, Proofing RoundUP Chair, will report the complete results in a LIVE Webinar on June 23, enabling Webinar attendees to systematically and accurately compare all leading proofing systems. The results of the 1st Annual IPA Workflow RoundUP will be presented June 29 in a LIVE Webinar detailing the dramatic results of this complex series of workflow tests involving the leading workflow solutions. Workflow RoundUP Chair David Zwang will report the results of tests involving critical issues and common problems in prepress and print production, including application bugs, limitations, image types, overprints, raster/vector object handling, transparency, font handling, and more.
