The theme for NGP Partners at the show is "Value of Integration for Digital Print." Eleven NGP Partners including two new NGP Partners management information system (MIS) vendor Pace Systems Group, Inc., and Printable Technologies, Inc., a developer of web-based solutions for the graphic arts industryare featuring solutions at AIIM On Demand. Networked Graphic Production (NGP) is the industry wide initiative dedicated to delivering cross-vendor, integrated solutions that connect and automate the entire print production process. NGP Partners are the leaders and innovators in the graphic arts and communications industry that are committed to developing and implementing these modular technologies. NGP is delivering the value of JDF by integrating the production process from idea to delivery. New NGP Partners Pace Systems Group, Inc. (AIIM On Demand booth # 2062), of Jacksonville, FL is the print management software company behind the successful ePace" MIS solution. The Pace System Group suite of software products includes modules for estimating, production management, inventory, purchasing, data collection, variable data and eCommerce. Pace customers will benefit from the future integration of its MIS system with production planning, prepress, and digital presses. California-based Printable Technologies, Inc. (booth # 1663 at AIIM On Demand) offers a suite of Internet and web-based applications for the graphic arts industry. NGP Partners Deliver Digital Print Solutions at On Demand Cross-vendor collaboration in NGP's Digital Print Technical Forum is helping digital printers to further integrate their prepress operations to extract greater value from their investments. Commercial printers are also integrating offset workflows much more easily thanks to the flexible, cross-vendor solutions developed by NGP Partners. Xerox is also showing live integration between the Creo Spire color server and a Xerox DocuColor digital press, and Xerox FreeFlow" Print Manager with Objective Advantage's Symbio JDF job manager software connecting to a Xerox digital press providing more efficient, lower-cost digital printing and integrated near-line finishing. NGP Partners Contribute to CIP4 Several NGP Partners attended the CIP4 interoperability meeting held in Pittsburgh, PA in late April 2005. Over half of the companies represented at the meetings were NGP Partners, demonstrating the group's continued involvement and commitment to developing and implementing job definition format (JDF), the standard created by the CIP4 organization.
