IKON DocAccel will be unveiled at the AIIM/On Demand digital printing and publishing event, held May 17 - 19 in Philadelphia, and will be on display in IKON booth #101. IKON DocAccel is designed to provide IKON customers with a proven, rules-based solution that captures paper and electronic documents from various sources, such as IKON's leading multifunction products, e-mail, desktops, wireless devices and fax machines. The solution then routes the documents and processed data into an array of business applications and document management systems from industry leaders including EMC (Documentum). The IKON DocAccel solution, which is part of IKON's comprehensive document solutions portfolio, is configured, implemented and supported by IKON's team of 1,000 professional services specialists worldwide. Called IKON DocAccel Legal, this solution is designed to dramatically reduce the time and cost that law firms and corporate legal departments spend to process litigation support documentation. This solution features image processing; optical character recognition and PDF creation; bates stamping; barcode routing; auto-encoding using artificial intelligence; and CD-ROM-based document review.
