Press release from the issuing company

FOSTER CITY, Calif.--April 6, 2005-- EFI, the world leader in digital imaging and print management solutions for commercial and enterprise printing, today announced two industry leaders -- Bill Farquharson and Andrew D. Paparozzi -- as keynote speakers at the sixth annual Connect users' conference taking place June 12-15th at the historic Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Speaking on June 14th and 15th respectively, Farquharson and Paparozzi will join Apollo Commander James Lovell who will open the conference on June 12th with an inspirational keynote titled "Apollo 13: A Successful Failure." Connect is the printing industry's largest user conference, offering participants a three day information-packed, interactive opportunity to discuss industry trends, test drive the latest EFI software, exchange ideas, and attend a broad range of educational and keynote sessions. The opening speaker on Tuesday, June 14th, will be Farquharson, president of Print Tec Network, a sales training organization for the printing industry. As a former printing and business forms salesperson, he will share his thoughts on the common denominators found among profitable digital print providers in a keynote titled "Who's Making Money at Digital Printing...and How?" On Wednesday, June 15th, the opening keynote of the final day of the conference will be Paparozzi, vice president and chief economist of NAPL (National Association of Print Leadership) who was a hit at last year's Connect with his insights into printer's most critical issues. With his pulse on the business trends of the printing industry, Paparozzi will again share his observations with Connect attendees. Said Marc Olin, Vice President/General Manager, EFI Commercial Print Systems, "Both Bill and Andrew will provide attendees with valuable insights and practical knowledge they can apply to their businesses. And I know they'll be inspired by Captain Lovell's keynote address. Attendees of Connect will find the entire conference to be an excellent opportunity to learn how to apply existing and new technologies to become more competitive, develop new revenue streams and, ultimately, improve their profitability." In addition to these keynote speakers, attendees can chose from more than 140 break-out sessions along with hands-on demos and exhibits of the latest productivity-enhancing tools. Registration fees are as follows: Early Bird, before or on May 1, at $795; and Full Conference after May 1 at $895.
