Pittsburgh, Pa., April 5, 2005 -- William “Bill” J. Gibson (Rider Dickerson, Inc, Chicago, IL) has been appointed Chairman of the Presidents Conference Advisory Committee of Printing Industries of America and the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation (PIA/GATF). Bill will serve a two-year term, leading a group of active and associate members and staff to plan and execute the Presidents Conference, a key executive forum for the printing and graphics industry of North America.
Bill Gibson is the Vice President at Rider Dickerson, a business communication services company providing an entire array of product and services for customers to communicate with clients, employees,
stockholders and vendor.
The role of the Committee is to represent and articulate the needs and interests of the graphic communications industry in the development of the program, logistics, and the implementation of the 2006-2007 Presidents Conference. The program is attended by over 275 people who are printers, suppliers, or consultants in the industry and their guests. The program combines relevant expert and practitioner insights, tips and techniques with high quality executive networking. The Committee meets several times a year to review potential programs and speaker dossiers to ensure a top-notch learning experience.
“The Presidents Conference has been instrumental in connecting key executives and senior leaders and managers to information and networking that they need to be profitable” according to Gibson.
The next meeting of the Presidents Conference will be March 12–16, 2006 in Oahu, Hawaii at the J.W. Marriott.
