New Alternate Ink Set Now Available for Oce Arizona 600 Large Format Production Inkjet Printer

Press release from the issuing company

LAS VEGAS, March 31 -- Oce, a leader in large format digital printing solutions, today announced the availability of Oce Series 440 inks for the Oce Arizona 600 large format production inkjet printer. These competitively priced inks are intended for UV-durable, non-warranted prints that can be used for a variety of outdoor applications. Oce Series 440 inks were developed to support a broader media list and enable faster print speeds on select material. Ten media have been qualified for these inks and profiles developed. The qualified media include cast vinyl, scrim banner, polyester textile, mesh banner, pressure-sensitive adhesive, artist canvas, and two-sided banner material. In addition, new media settings give customers the ability to customize heater settings, which gives users more control over a wider range of materials. The Oce Series 440 inks are ideal for shorter-term or promotional graphics such as point-of-purchase displays, vehicle graphics, event banners, exhibit graphics and transit advertising, where an outdoor or long-term warranty is not required. The Oce Series 440 ink U.S. price per liter is nearly 35 percent less than the per-liter price of warranted inks. 3M Warranted Inks Also Available For jobs requiring an outdoor or UV warranty, 3M(TM) Piezo Ink Jet Ink Series 5500 are still available for the Oce Arizona 600. When used with select 3M media, the Oce Arizona 600 and the Series 5500 inks deliver outdoor-durable graphics backed by a 3M(TM) MCS(TM) warranty of up to three years outdoor without lamination or five years outdoor with lamination. The 3M(TM) MCS(TM) Warranty and Scotchprint Graphics brand is available to 3M Scotchprint Graphics Authorized Manufacturers in select regions of the world, including North and South America.
