BEDFORD, MA, March 15, 2005 — Latran Technologies LLC, a leader in the industry's most advanced digital halftone proofing technology and a major provider of high-quality Prediction proofing systems to the high-end commercial printing, label and packaging markets, has appointed Pete Radic as Area Sales Manager for Latran's Southeast Territory. Commenting on the appointment, Jim McElhenny, Latran's Vice President of Sales, said, "Pete brings us his solid experience in selling digital prepress equipment, including color proofing systems, to the packaging and commercial printing markets, and we're very pleased to have him on our sales team. He gives us a new strong presence in the Southeast and will be a valuable contributor to Latran's growing business activity throughout the region." A sales and marketing executive with more than 28 years of experience in digital prepress and printing systems technology, Radic joined Latran from EskoGraphics where he had been Southeast Regional Sales Manager. During his six years with that company, his primary markets spanned consumer packaging, tag and label, commercial, security and screen printing. Earlier, Radic was Regional Sales Manager of IRIS Graphics where he was responsible for marketing the company's line of digital color printers to the graphic arts industry in the Southeast, Midwest, Southwest and Caribbean areas. His experience in the digital printing and imaging field also includes posts as Senior Account Executive with Encad, manufacturer of the wide-format digital textile system; Southeast Regional Sales Manager of Purup North America; Eastern Regional Account Manager for the Contex Graphics Division of Xyvision Design Systems; and System Sales Representative for Agfa/Compugraphic. An alumnus of Northampton College, Northampton, Massachusetts, Radic holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing.
