Darmstadt, 14 March 2005 – IfraExpo, Europe’s largest annual trade show for the newspaper publishing industry, continues to grow. Eight months before its opening, much of the exhibit space has already been sold. The event is receiving high marks among the newspaper and magazine publishers for consistently providing a launching pad for new products, successful business models and considerable ROI opportunities within Europe for its exhibitor base.
To accommodate the strong demand for booth space among U.S. manufacturers, Ifra will offer for the first time USA Pavilion space for this event. Says Michael Heipel, Director of Exhibitions: “We see strong export potential for innovative products from U.S. manufacturers especially given the current valuation of the U.S. dollar. With the USA Pavilion we are able to reach out to small to mid-sized U.S. companies and provide an easy and cost efficient way to participate. The U.S. Pavilion is designed to attract suppliers new to IfraExpo. We like to assist those companies in entering or expanding into international export markets”.
IfraExpo 2005 (www.ifraexpo.com) will occupy 2 halls at the Leipzig Fairgrounds from 17 to 20 October. The last event in October 2004 in Amsterdam attracted 278 exhibitors from 20 countries and 8,628 visitors from 70 countries.
The product range will include Prepress Production, Printing Technology, Editorial Systems, Information Technology, Advertising Systems, Electronic Media, Organizing and Archiving Systems.
