Fuji installs Luxel V-6 CTP and Celebrant RIP at Thunderbird Press

TORONTO – March 2, 2005 -- Fuji Graphic Systems Canada Inc. recently announced the first installation of a semi-automatic Luxel V-6 B2, 4-page Violet CTP and Celebrant Release 6.0 RIP at Thunderbird Press. Thunderbird Press, a sheetfed printer based in Richmond, British Columbia is Fuji Graphics’ first customer to use Fuji’s revolutionary AM screening, Co-Res and FM screening, TAFFETA on the Luxel V-6. A long time Fuji Graphics customer, Thunderbird chose Fuji technology for their first CTP to differentiate their service offering from that of their competitors. Doug Bourne of Thunderbird Press said “with TAFFETA and Co-Res screening we can now be different from our competitors.” He continued to say “we are very happy the new technology and with the quality of technical support offered by the Fuji Graphics’ team”.
