MALVERN, Pa.--Feb. 28, 2005-- IKON Office Solutions, the world's largest independent channel for document management systems and services, today announced the addition of a London-based customer event to the 2005 IKON Insight Series -- a 13-city international seminar series aimed at helping executives and IT managers achieve operational success beyond the convergence of print, copy, scan and image technology.
The London IKON Insight Series event, "Beyond Convergence: Delivering Operational Success through Document Management," will take place on February 28, 2005. The event will feature insights from IKON document workflow expert Bill Blake, who will discuss a strategic approach to document management, designed to streamline workflow and enhance processes. Blake also will walk participants through several customer case studies describing first-hand experiences in implementing document management strategies to achieve greater efficiency and productivity enterprise-wide.
"Across Europe, the convergence of print, copy, scan and image technology has allowed businesses to save time, space and money by managing documents with just one multifunction device," said David Mills, vice president and president, IKON Europe. "The next step is to build on the multifunction platform to create a true document management strategy, which will improve workflow and productivity while reducing expenses throughout the enterprise. IKON is uniquely positioned to collaborate with our customers, and design custom document workflow solutions that meet their specific business needs and goals."
Following the IKON Insight Series event in London, participants are invited to attend the Canon Concerto, an event sponsored by Canon Europe that features the latest multifunction copy/print technology from Canon.
The IKON Insight Series began on February 10, 2005 in Los Angeles. Additional events will be held in the following cities throughout 2005: London, February 28; Boston, April 13; St. Louis, April 20; Minneapolis, May 3; Detroit, May 4; Toronto, May 12; Phoenix, May 25; Seattle, June 8; San Francisco, August 11; Cincinnati, October 19; Woodbridge, NJ, October 25; and Calgary, December 1.
