PMA 2005 Orlando (February 20, 2005) - Creo Inc. is capturing images with the latest Leaf digital photographic products and printing them on the HP Designjet 130nr Printer series, to deliver top-quality images from capture to print. Creo Leaf and HP are participating together at North America’s largest photographic show, the Photo Marketing Association, from February 20-23, 2005 to demonstrate this workflow and the flexibility of the equipment. Leaf Aptus Family The Leaf Aptus digital camera backs feature a large 6x7 cm (3.9 in.), built-in touch screen enabling practical image evaluation, focus confirmation and editing. Available with either 22 or 17 mega pixels, the Leaf Aptus medium-format camera captures an image every 1.2 second. The Leaf Aptus digital camera backs are portable and easy-to-use with the robustness, resolution and powerful workflow professional photographers require. The Leaf Aptus will begin shipping in April 2005. Leaf Valeo Wireless Family The Leaf Valeo Wireless digital camera back uses built-in Bluetooth wireless technology for two-way communication between the camera and the Leaf DP-67, a 6x7 cm (3.9 inch) image display and control unit. Based on the HP iPAQ pocket PC, the DP-67 acts as both a “digital proof” and a personal digital assistant. The Leaf Valeo Wireless captures an image every 1.2 seconds. Leaf Capture 10 Application The user-friendly Leaf Capture 10 application, which enables image capture through final output, features a newly designed application with an intuitive interface and efficient workflow for the production studio environment. This easy-to-use, yet robust workflow-oriented application for professional photographers is also being demonstrated at PMA. Leading photographer Brian Goodman will be at the HP booth demonstrating the Leaf digital camera backs using Leaf Capture 10 and printing images continuously on the HP Designjet 130nr printer. In the Creo booth, a Leaf specialist is showing the Leaf digital backs and the new Leaf Capture 10 application.
