Kodak Board Names Faraci and Lloyd Senior Vice Presidents, Markin as Vice President

ROCHESTER, N.Y.--Feb. 17, 2005-- Eastman Kodak Company announced today that its board of directors has elected Philip J. Faraci and William J. Lloyd as Senior Vice Presidents of the company, and L. Jeffrey Markin as a Vice President of the company, effective immediately. Philip Faraci joined Kodak as Director, Inkjet Systems Program in December 2004. Prior to Kodak, Faraci served as Chief Operating Officer of Phogenix Imaging and President and General Manager of Gemplus Corporation's Telecom Business Unit. Prior to these roles, he spent 22 years at Hewlett-Packard, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Consumer Business Organization and Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Inkjet Imaging Solutions Group. Faraci holds a BS in applied mechanics from the University of California, San Diego and is a graduate of the University's Executive Program for Scientists and Engineers. William Lloyd, who will become Chief Technical Officer and Director, Research and Development on March 1, joined Kodak in June of 2003 as Director, Inkjet Systems Program. Prior to Kodak, Lloyd was president of consulting firm Inwit Inc., and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Gemplus International, a leading maker of Smart Cards. He has also served as Co-Chief Executive Officer of Phogenix Imaging. Before joining Phogenix, Lloyd spent 31 years at Hewlett-Packard Company, rising to the position of Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of the Inkjet Products Group. Lloyd earned a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from UCLA and a MSEE in Computer Engineering from Stanford University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Infotonics Technology Center, headquartered just outside of Rochester, N.Y. Jeffrey Markin is General Manager, Regional Operations for Kodak's Health Group. In his 25 years with Kodak, Markin has attained a well-rounded background in sales, channel management and operations. He joined Kodak in 1980 in the company's Rochester, N.Y. film operations and subsequently held a number of management positions including Business Manager for Kodak's Office Imaging Media Products group and Director of Marketing, U.S. and Canada region, for the company's Document Imaging business. Before joining Kodak's Health Group in 2000 as General Manager of Film Systems, he managed the worldwide product and service business for Document Imaging located in Asia, China, Hong Kong, and Australia. Markin holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo and an Executive MBA from the Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester.
