PARAMUS, N.J., JANUARY 20, 2005 – As part of its ongoing commitment to helping graphic communications companies compete effectively in today’s challenging business environment, the National Association for Printing Leadership (NAPL) has expanded its Consulting Services with the appointment of Bruce Perlstein to senior consultant, effective immediately. Perlstein brings to NAPL more than 13 years’ experience in advising graphic communications companies, serving most recently as an NAPL independent associate consultant.
In his new post, he reports to John Hyde, managing director of NAPL Consulting Services. Perlstein and Hyde had been partners in Rampart Associates, a former Trumbull, Conn.-based graphic communications industry consulting firm, from 1994 to May of 2004.
As one of the few certified Accredited Valuation Analysts specializing in the graphic communications industry, Perlstein will be instrumental in helping clients obtain current and accurate business valuations for a range of purposes, including mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, and partner disassociation. His other areas of expertise include merger and acquisition, turnaround management, restructuring, and finance.

Before joining Rampart Associates in 1992, Perlstein served as controller to a privately held company in Connecticut and held various financial management positions at SmithKline Beecham. He holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration in Finance. Perlstein is certified by the National Association of Certified Valuations Analysts (NACVA) as an Accredited Valuation Analyst.
