Mexico’s foremost printing association, the Union de Industriales Litografos de Mexico- UILMAC, will launch its North American marketing and public relation campaign at the Graphics of the Americas 2005-GOA 30th Anniversary show in Miami. “We have selected GOA because for us it is the paramount Printing Industry show of the Americas,” stated Jorge Simon Guzman the association’s current president. Mexico’s most prominent printers, who together cover the total spectrum of services and industrial capabilities, form UILMAC. The association has in the past concentrated its efforts servicing the domestic market but with the rapid changes in the industry and integration of the North American hemisphere is keen to include all the Americas in its marketing activities. North America has traditionally sent its printing jobs overseas, but sharing a common border, overlapping cultures, similar products and influences, and proximities of the market, should make Mexico a preferred supplier of printing products in the future.
