Pruitt Joins Goss International Board of Directors

James E. "Jack" Pruitt former chairman and chief executive officer of Harris Graphics Corporation and has joined the Board of Directors of Goss International. January 17th, 2005 – James E. "Jack" Pruitt has joined the Board of Directors of Goss International. Pruitt is a former chairman and chief executive officer of Harris Graphics Corporation and has more than two decades of management experience in the web offset supply sector. "I have maintained a strong interest in the printing equipment business and I look forward to contributing to the success of Goss. I feel the company has an excellent strategy and the best resources in the business," Pruitt explains. Pruitt joined Harris Corporation in 1956 and held senior management positions in the company''s printing divisions from 1972 to 1983. He was chairman, CEO and president of Harris Graphics Corporation from 1983 to 1986, having led a management buyout of the company. Pruitt is currently CEO of Pangaea Systems in Melbourne, Florida, a company that produces software solutions for industry and business applications. He served as president of the management consulting firm PruMac, Inc. from 1996 to 2001 and as chief executive officer of newspaper postpress supplier Quipp, Inc. from 1989 to 1994. A member of the Soderstrom and Ash Kahn Societies, Pruitt has also served on the Board of Advisors for the New York University and The Rochester Institute of Technology graphic communications programs, and the Board of Directors for the Graphic Arts Technical Foundation. He is an active member of the Board of Trustees of the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.
