VUTEk Inc., the world's leading supplier of superwide format digital inkjet printers, has appointed Philippe Carron as its new European Managing Director. Based at the European Headquarters in Zaventum, Belgium, Philippe will be responsible for the development of VUTEk's European business in new and existing markets, and for driving sales of its market-leading products. Philippe will join VUTEk on January 15th, coming from Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company. At Oracle, Philippe held the position of Channel Director, Belgium, and was head of its Internet Sales Team for Ireland for two years. He was responsible for creating indirect business and developing relationships and alliances with system integrators. He also held a number of previous senior management positions at Vistorm, Compaq and IBM. Speaking of his appointment, Philippe comments, 'I am thrilled to have been chosen for the VUTEk position.
