Kissner Resigns at Pitney Bowes

STAMFORD, Conn., Dec. 17 -- Today Pitney Bowes Inc. announced that Matthew Kissner has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities effective December 31, 2004. He will remain available to provide consultative and transitional services as needed for up to six months. Kissner was most recently Executive Vice President and Group President of the company's Global Enterprise Solutions operations. Critelli commented, "All of us appreciate Matt's leadership and contributions, and wish him well in his future activities. During his 10 years with the company he led the launch of a variety of innovative financial services and the successful repositioning of our financial services business, the development of our direct marketing capability to small businesses, the corporate marketing and branding strategy, and launched a corporate quality function with a new focus on Six Sigma performance excellence. Most recently he has led the progress in our management services and Document Messaging Technologies businesses. He has recruited and developed many highly talented leaders and has delivered significant shareholder value in his many assignments." The company recently consolidated all of its operations under 17-year veteran Murray Martin in the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer.
