Xplor and Graphics of the Americas Extend Partnership to Xplor 2005 Orlando

Xplor 2005 DALLAS--Oct. 26, 2004-- Xplor International, organizers of the Global Electronic Document Systems Conference and Exhibit, and The Printing Association of Florida, producers of Graphics of the Americas', yesterday unveiled an addition to their partnership first announced in July of 2004. At a joint press conference held today at Xplor's 25th annual conference and exhibit in Dallas, Texas, the two organizations unveiled an industry initiative to address converging technologies and their effect on the industry. Detailed by both organizations' leadership, the initiative will introduce attendees at Xplor's 2005 Orlando, Florida conference to many of the benefits found only at Graphics of the Americas', the largest annual international graphic arts show in the United States. "For the first time, attendees can enjoy one venue that maximizes their conference dollars," said Skip Henk, EDP, president and CEO of Xplor, International. "In addition, vendors who make up our exhibitors and sponsors can now access a larger and more varied customer and prospect pool." The press conference also highlighted how the two organizations, with strong synergistic constituencies, will work together to unify promotional efforts, expand U.S. marketing efforts, and provide a seamless experience for both vendors and attendees. The two organizations also shared a vision for Xplor's 2005 conference in Orlando, as a venue to address needs of end-users and providers, a showcase for the convergence of knowledge, products, and technology, and a bridge between digital and non-digital worlds that is both education and exhibit oriented.
