Augsburg, Germany (February 6, 2008) – BÖWE SYSTEC has announced today its plans to streamline the management organization and structure of the Lasermax Roll Systems Group by appointing Mr. William Carroll as its new President and CEO. He replaces Mr. Pelle Ohlsson, who led the company through the 2004 merger between Stralfors Lasermax division and Roll Systems Inc.

Dr. Claus Gerckens, President and CEO of BÖWE SYSTEC AG and Chairman of the Board of Lasermax Roll Systems said "We are appreciative of the many contributions Mr. Ohlsson has given to the company and wish him well with his pursuit of new professional challenges."

Mr. Carroll, who had been President of Roll Systems prior to the merger with Stralfors' Lasermax division, brings 13 years of experience in the digital print industry.  Before that Mr. Carroll held several senior, international management assignments with Digital Equipment Corp.  He holds a Master's degree from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.
