IPA Webinars Honored for Continued Excellence in Education by EDSF

(October 5, 2004) IPA, The Association of Graphic Solutions Providers, has received the Electronic Document Systems Foundation (EDSF) 2004 Excellence in Education Award for Innovation in Continuing Education for IPA's highly-acclaimed Webinar Program.
IPA Web-based training programs allow participants to attend training and educational programs without incurring travel costs or time away, thus allowing companies to provide efficient and more cost effective training and educational programs for their employees.
IPA Webinars are broadcast live using Web and audio conferencing technology, allowing attendees to participate from their desktop or conference room. Webinars are archived and available for purchase on CD or downloaded from the IPA Website www.ipa.org.
Congratulating IPA on the Association's innovative use of the Web, Jeanne Mowlds, EDSF executive director said, "It's important that the work of industry educators and their programs receive appreciation and recognition. What is being taught today shapes our industry professionals for the future. And because we are in very dynamic, ever-changing times, innovation is key."

IPA Webinars are produced by David Haradon, IPA Webinar director, who works with IPA TEAMs to determine and develop program content based on member needs.
