SGIA 2004 MOONACHIE, N.J.--Sept. 28, 2004--NUR Macroprinters, a leading supplier of wide-format inkjet production printing systems for the out-of-home advertising market, announced that at this year's Specialty Graphic Imaging Association's trade show, SGIA 2004, taking place on October 6-9, 2004 in Minneapolis, MN, NUR Macroprinters will introduce solutions that deliver higher speed, overall throughput and production efficiencies that are aimed at achieving higher profits for its customers in the screen-printing industry.
The wide-format inkjet production printing solutions NUR Macroprinters is showcasing at this year's SGIA show include:
-- The new NUR Expedio 5000 superwide UV inkjet press
-- The NUR Fresco II providing enhanced versatility, productivity and image quality
-- The NUR Tempo wide-format flatbed inkjet press
NUR Macroprinters will also demonstrate its new ink consumption calculator. NUR Macroprinters customers that use NUR Spirit inks can use this new, easy-to-operate software tool to calculate in advance the amount of ink that will be consumed for the jobs they are planning to print. This ensures they can prepare more accurate price quotes for their customers so they can better manage their businesses and consistently achieve their profit goals.
Also featured in NUR Macroprinters' booth will be NUR Spirit InKtelligence - an ink inventory management, re-ordering and dispensing system that is customized for the needs of each individual customer's production environment. Combining the latest advances in wireless data network communications technology, inventory management and logistics automation software, and automated replenishment ordering, the NUR Spirit InKtelligence ink cabinet manages ink inventory, monitors consumption and ensures replenishment of the customer's ink supply on a "pay-as-you-go" basis.
"This year at SGIA, we mark the formal launch of the new NUR Expedio 5000 in the Americas and we expect it will be a very busy show for us," says Nachum Korman, president of NUR America, Inc. "The high speed and UV-printing capabilities of this new machine make it a versatile companion to screen presses in operations that need to handle a lot of flexible media. Since we first previewed it earlier this year, it has generated tremendous interest and we are already taking orders for it. We have also added a new production facility to expand our manufacturing capacity for the machine so we can meet the expected demand."
