Cenveo CEO Reilly To Join Roundtable On Priority Mailing
Press release from the issuing company
ENGLEWOOD, Colo., September 20, 2004 – Paul Reilly, chairman, president, and CEO of Cenveo, Inc., will participate in a high-level roundtable on package applications for Priority Mailers during the National Postal Forum’s Package Day Symposium tomorrow in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Reilly will join senior executives from DuPont, McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC), and Weyerhaeuser in a wide-ranging discussion of trends and innovations in packaging materials and supply-chain management for corporate mailers. The panelists will examine how the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and its industry customers can increase the effectiveness of packaging products and processes through economically sound and environmentally responsible business practices.
The roundtable also will address Express Mail and Priority Mail packaging options and offer insights into the future of expedited packaging, flat rate boxes, and other services for high-volume mailers.
Cenveo, a leading provider of visual communications, is a major partner to the USPS in devising packaging solutions for large-scale postal distribution. The company manufactures Express Mail and Priority Mail envelopes and is the largest supplier of space-saving Tyvek packaging to the USPS.
According to Mr. Reilly, the record of service from Cenveo to the USPS is indicative of the close working relationship that the two organizations have long enjoyed.
“As a company, our objective is to help the Postmaster General help his customers,” Mr. Reilly said. “If the Post Office is successful, we are successful.
“Our relationship with the Postal Service is a very important one. We see the Postal Service as one of the largest logistics companies in the world, and we are proud to work with them to build their volume and drive their growth.”
The Package Day Symposium is a part of the four-day (September 19-22) National Postal Forum, a conference and exposition at which Cenveo will be one of nearly 150 exhibitors. This year’s event marks the first time that Cenveo has taken part in the Forum’s educational program, which will consist of three general sessions, five all-day symposiums, and over 100 workshops. Speakers at the general sessions include John Potter, Postmaster General; David Fineman, chairman of the Postal Service Board of Governors; Pat Donahoe, USPS chief operating officer; and Anita Bizzotto, USPS chief marketing officer.
The National Postal Forum was established in 1968 by a group of major postal customers and mailers committed to an ongoing partnership with the USPS. Its mission is to educate business mailers and to facilitate communication between the USPS and its business customers to ensure a more responsive and efficient postal system.
