Like the current DIGIMASTER E series systems, the new press features a highly modular design for maximum flexibility, enhanced image quality, greater range of substrate weights, sizes and thicknesses, a truly open architecture for seamless workflow integration, and a paper path customers value for improved reliability over other systems. The E series now includes the DIGIMASTER E150 digital production system, announced at drupa, which features a 150 impressions-per-minute (ipm) engine, as well as the new DIGIMASTER E125 print system, which delivers high-quality monochrome printing at 125 ipm. The new DIGIMASTER E125 system is ideal for customers who want the ability to do short-run, custom and variable data print jobs with a high-end digital black-and-white system at a lower initial investment. The standard configuration of the E125 consists of the marking engine, which includes three paper drawers; a measured stitch finisher for stapling; the new V240 System Control Subsystem, a server-based controller that offers extremely fast processing speed and enables print providers to achieve higher productivity, more flexibility and increased reliability; as well as AP Print Production Software. The DIGIMASTER E125 print system also delivers excellent image quality at 600x600 dpi, and employs a small-particle developer and enhanced technology to deliver high-quality documents.
