ORLANDO, FLORIDA, September 8, 2004 – Sixty-six companies were recognized for outstanding achievement in the graphic arts at the Printing Association of Florida’s 17th annual Florida Print Awards. IBF Industries, Inc. (Tampa) was awarded the Spinola Printers Supply Inc. Golden Flamingo Trophy for capturing the most Best of Category honors. The Coral Reef Graphics Group (Miami Lakes), along with KAM Graphics (Miami Lakes), American National Ltd. (Miami) and Southeastern Printing (Stuart), captured a trophy for Best of Show Division I, II, III and IV, respectively. “Florida printers have reset the standard for excellence in printing,” said Mike Streibig, President of PAF. “The quantity and quality of entries this year was mind-boggling and resulted in a record number of awards.” In addition to the Best of Show divisions, sponsor trophies were presented in recognition of outstanding work in categories particularly difficult to judge, or to recognize exemplary use of printing processes.
