BlueCosmos and Document Solutions partner to offer new print-on-demand solutions

The solution combines BlueCosmos' print-on-demand software with the latest digital printing technology from Xerox. "We saw a demonstration from BlueCosmos on how they teamed with Xerox to help Bank One produce personalized documents in minutes by using new web-to-print technology. According to CAP Ventures, a market research firm for the digital imaging industry, documents are steadily moving closer to the end-user. Shorter print runs and the requirement for faster turnaround, make traditional workflows inefficient and expensive. "We certainly see customers who want more control of the production process and they like the lower cost and time-to-market  advantages that print-on-demand offers," Brown said. Customers log-in to a secure web site and from a simple point-and-click menu, create one or more customized publications based on their needs.
