White Stone, VA, August 2004— The Research and Engineering Council of NAPL will once again hold its annual Critical Trends Breakfast at GRAPH EXPO and CONVERTING EXPO, the forthcoming graphic arts show in Chicago. The breakfast, to be held at 7:30 am on Monday, October 11, 2004, in McCormick Place adjacent to the exhibition hall, will feature a review of printing technology at the international industry trade show. Speakers will include representatives of major printing companies, printing equipment and supply vendors, and industry consultants. The breakfast will be moderated by an R&E Council Steering Committee member.
Commenting on the breakfast, R&E Council managing director Ronald L. Mihills said: “Research and Engineering Council critical trends breakfasts at major graphic arts trade shows are regarded by industry leaders as key sources of information regarding new products. Attendees at our recent breakfasts at Drupa and Graph Expo 2003 benefited greatly from the timely synthesis of information we routinely provide. A portion of the proceeds from the breakfast will be donated to the Print & Graphics Scholarship Foundation. Corporate sponsorships for the breakfast are available.”
