(Tokyo, Japan) July 28, 2004 -- InfoTrends/CAP Ventures announced today the appointment of industry veteran Naomi Yabe as Director of Research for the Asia-Pacific region. Ms. Yabe brings 30 years of experience to the InfoTrends/CAP Ventures team. Most recently, she managed press and investor relations at Yozan, Inc. in Tokyo, Japan. Her responsibilities included exhibition and conference management, coordinating and writing press releases and business reports, and planning for print advertisements. Prior to her work at Yozan, Ms. Yabe spent 28 years with Canon, Inc. in a variety of positions. Most recently, she served as General Manager in the President’s office at Canon Aptex, Inc., a subsidiary of Canon. In this capacity, Ms. Yabe was in charge of market research and new business development.
