January 8, 2004 -- KBA North America, a leading sheetfed offset press manufacturer based in Williston, VT, has presented Graphic Packaging Corporation, Lumberton, N.C. with a hand-made replica of its new eight-color Rapida 162  64" sheetfed press with coater, perfector, and extended delivery. Mike Doss, vice president of operations for Graphic Packaging, accepts the printing press model from Steve Listro, KBA’s sales representative. In the background is a display of the many packaging products printed by Graphic Packaging. The new KBA Rapida eight-color press at Graphic Packaging was a monumental order for KBA, in that it was the firm’s 500th order for a large format sheetfed press. Graphic Packaging installed the press in August 2003.
