July 8, 2004 -- Dutch newspaper publisher Winkelaar Krantendruk has recently become the first company in Europe to invest in ECRM’s fully automated newspaper CTP solution, the NEWSmatic. Founded in 1902 in Winterswijk close to the German border in the east of The Netherlands; the firm can boast over 100 years history in the newspaper printing industry. With this kind of experience and understanding of the market, it comes as no surprise that the firm turned to the ECRM NEWSmatic when it became clear that automatic CTP was the way forward; and more importantly, that it was now affordable. We had found the solution for our CTP needs.” Winkelaar Krantendruk publishes a range of weekly and regional newspaper titles in both The Netherlands and the Rheinland-Westfalen area of Germany.
