MEMPHIS, Tenn.--July 6, 2004-- FedEx Corp. this week launched a new advertising campaign to redefine the business-services marketplace through its recently acquired and rebranded FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Centers.
The campaign focuses on FedEx Kinko's one-of-a-kind offering of the industry's broadest range of business services with many locations open 24 hours, seven days a week. The campaign also highlights FedEx Kinko's significantly lower shipping prices, including prices of up to 35 percent less than The UPS Store.
The campaign, the first advertising for FedEx Kinko's, unveils the company's new tagline "Our Office is Your Office," which targets key small-business and mobile-professional customers who increasingly use FedEx Kinko's as their "office on the road."
Since acquiring FedEx Kinko's in February, the company has been rebranding the more than 1,100 digitally connected centers in the United States. FedEx Kinko's now offers the full range of FedEx day-definite ground and time-definite global express shipping services at all U.S. locations. In addition, FedEx Kinko's provides access to FedEx Consolidated Returns Service®, an innovative solution for e-tailers and catalogue companies to cost effectively handle returns at all U.S. centers.
FedEx Kinko's Advertising Launch
"FedEx Kinko's powerfully redefines the future of the business services marketplace by offering customers a fully functional office on the road," said T. Michael Glenn, executive vice president at FedEx Corp. "We are changing the way people do business globally by providing customers with access to a one-stop business center for all of their business service needs at significantly lower shipping prices than our competitors--up to 35 percent less than The UPS Store."
"These ads reflect the value that FedEx Kinko's offers to our customers," said Gary Kusin, president of FedEx Kinko's. "In addition to the industry's broadest range of services -- copying and printing, computer rental, Wi-Fi Internet access, videoconferencing, and FedEx® shipping -- we plan to launch a complete pack-and-ship capability before the peak holiday season, offering customers the opportunity to make, print, pack and ship their items in a single location."
The addition of the 1,100 U.S. FedEx Kinko's Office and Print Centers has significantly increased customer access to FedEx shipping services, particularly FedEx Ground services. FedEx now offers customers convenient access to its shipping services through more than 50,000 retail locations worldwide.
The ad campaign, created by BBDO New York, includes nine television spots, as well as print advertising, radio, direct mail and online elements.
